Sneak Peek... A garden wedding

I'll blog more about this once I receive some pics from the ever so lovely Bride and Groom, but I wanted to give you at least one little sneak peek at how very pretty their wedding was! They were such a lovely couple, very kind, and super sweet!

Thanks so much to Mark and Allison for allowing me to be part of your day! I had the best time :)

Hope you all enjoy your day!

Wobbly Wednesday... Watermelon Blasters

It's been forever since I've posted one of these, and after my long day today, I seriously need one of these! This recipe comes to you courteousy of Miss Martha Stewart. I know what I'll be doing with the watermelon I've got in my fridge!

Martha suggests tasting your drink before adding the sugar. You may find that you don't actually need it. :)

What you need:
  • 3 cups of cubed seedless watermelon
  • 1.5 cups of strawberries
  • 3 tablespoons of lime juice
  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 cup of ice cubes
  • sugar to taste
  • Cookie Cutter of your desired shape
What you need to do:

Put the watermelon, strawberries, lime juice, vodka, and sugar (if desired) into a blender. Blend on high for 15 seconds. Stir with a wooden spoon, blend on high for 15 more seconds. Pour into glasses, garnish and enjoy! Makes 2 servings (high ball glass size)

Garnish:

Using a wooden spoon, press the rind of the watermelon through the cookie cutter. cut into it with a knife and place on the rim of your glass.

Big Hugs,
Tam xoxo

Marshmallows, bubbles and sunshine.....

Happy Sunday Everyone :)

Hope you all got out and enjoyed this much needed sunshine this weekend :) I had the nicest day today :) I got the dreaded task of mowing my lawn out of the way at 9am this morning. I'm sure my neighbors were loving me, but at least I waited until 9 :) After the lawn was done, I set up camp at the picnic table on my patio and got down to some business. I have a wedding that I'm doing in a couple weeks, and I needed to put the final touches on my spreadsheet and just make sure all my ducks are in a row. Feeling good about it all, it's going to be tons of fun and I can't wait! I'll share all the details with you once it's done!

My little 3 year old nephew Caleb came over this afternoon for a playdate and we had the bestest time! Had a campfire and roasted marshmallows, put our toes in the lake and blew some bubbles on the dock. We got some "Auntie/Kid" time in today and I loved every minute of it. :)  Here's a few pics from our day :)

Hope you all had a fantastic weekend and enjoy your evening!
