Sneak Peek - Boho Bridal Styled Shoot

Today I'm feeling inspired and blessed and just wanted to share. :) I feel very fortunate to be able to work with some of the most wonderfully talented and kind people in this industry. A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to be part of a Boho inspired wedding shoot, and let me tell you it was spectacular! The team that it took to pull this off was insane and we couldn't have done it without every one of us. So much talent and passion in one place. It truly makes my heart sing when you see everyone put their heart and soul into something. They're there because they love it and believe in it, not just for the paycheck and believe me, it shows in their work. :)

To everyone involved, thank you so much for the opportunity to work with all of you and help create something beautiful.

Here's a few sneak peeks for you all. Top photo is from Cassie O'Neil Cinematography. Bottom photo is from Nichole Taylor Photography.

And here is a list of everyone involved :) Be sure to visit their sites and give them some love :)

and of course our models - Aidan and Hayley

A Mustache Bash for Jace

A few Saturday's ago I put together this sweet little dessert table for a little guy named Jace and just wanted to share it with all of you. :) It was his very first Birthday and his parents wanted to do something extra special so this is what we came up with.

The cake and other baked goodies were from the very talented Laura of Schur to Please Wedding and Specialty Cakes :) Seriously, I don't think there's anything she can't make and her prices are amazing!

Everyone had the most fun and best of all it was exactly how they envisioned it would be :) YAY!

Hope you all have a fantastic day!

Chevron love...

There's so many parts of this job that I absolutely love, but I do have to say searching for inspiration and creating the look and feel of the event has got to be up in the top 3 of all time!

I'm very grateful to be able to meet and work with so many amazing couples and vendors. I have a wedding coming up in August that I am super excited for! It's going to be an intimate wedding full of personality and lots of little touches!  A little new mixed with a little bit of old. :) My favourite! not to mention that the location is to die for!!

These are some of the photos that we've been loving and have inspired us to create what is sure to be one of my very favourites!

Hope you all enjoy your weekend!

Mint and Coral Wedding Shoot...

Back in February Chelsea from Chelsea Dawn Photography and Make Up Artistry contacted me to see if I'd like to be part of a styled shoot. I jumped at the chance to work with her. Not only is her work absolutely stunning, but  I'm always up for a shoot! :) Her friend and fellow photographer Sabrina of Seriously Sabrina Photography was coming for a visit and was going to be part of our team. We knew we wanted to have the colors mint and a soft coral to frame our design and wanted to portray softness, romance and some vintage charm. We put our heads together and rounded up the most fantastic vendors to help put our vision together :)

The day really was a great time. Such a joy to work with such amazing and talented people. Below are a few of my favorites from the day. Not only were we thrilled with how everything came together, but so were the folks at Style Me Pretty! YAY!! I'm happy to say they liked it so much, that they decided to feature it on their site! Click here... to see their post!

Thanks so much to all the vendors who came together to create this beautiful day, and to our gorgeous bride and groom, you could not have been any sweeter! xo

Much love to you all,
Tam

New Year.. new start... new me :)

So this might be a little late for a New Year's Post, but I've been thinking about this since the New Year so that has to count for something right? Like many people, I think of Jan 1st as a new start, a clean slate, or at the very least something fresh. In years past I've made resolutions and some have been kept, some not. I am happy to say that I got to cross a few things off "my list" last year and met some goals so that was nice. :) I'll take my "wins" no matter how small they seem to be. :)

I've been doing some thinking, reflecting, and maybe even some "growing" this past little while.  I've decided that this is my year. My year to work hard, play hard, really look into what makes me happy and make the most out of every day and every moment I have. The above photo is my new desktop. It's all pictures I found on Pinterest and the words kind of hit home with me. Sometimes you really do have to stop and just be grateful and take ownership of your life and how you're living it. :) I know I've said it before, but I really mean it, I've met some amazing and wonderful people on this little adventure, and even on the days when the bank account is thin, the days are long and I feel a little overwhelmed with my list of things to do and people to see, I'm so grateful to be able to be doing the things I love. :)

So here's to new beginnings, old and new friends, working hard, enjoying all the lovely things and moments life has to offer and just being happy. :)

I hope your year is full of love, happiness, hard work and exciting adventures!

Matt and Katie's Photography Workshop - A Styled Shoot by Blue Lily

Earlier this summer two amazingly kind and wonderful photographers from Australia (Matt and Katie), were coming to town to share their knowledge with some of our local photographers.  Lara Eichhorn was organizing things on this side for them and asked if I would get a team together and style a shoot for them all to practice on! I was over the moon excited and off we went! A few meetings and a dozen emails later, we had our team and our couples!

The idea was to have 3 different real life couples so we could portray 3 separate looks for the photographers.  We decided on a woodsy more boho look, a more formal and traditional look,  and an engagement couple (who are actually engaged!) :) YAY!

I can't express how much fun the day was. It was crazy busy rushing around with hair and make-up appointments, dressing the boys, and setting things up in time for the class to be ready for the "shooting" portion of their workshop! I don't think I've ever carried furniture for that many blocks before ;) haha  All in all the day was such an incredible experience, and I'm so grateful that I was able to participate :)

Big love to our incredibly talented team and to our gorgeous and oh so patient models! and of course to all the photographers who so graciously shared the photos with us. xo These are a few of my favourites... there's quite a few as they were all so pretty I wanted to show them all to you!
